AR Works created a digital stamp rally using AR to explore Yokohama City Hall, which was held from Wednesday, March 5th to Monday, March 24th, 2025. Participants learned about Yokohama
City's decarbonization measures and environmental initiatives while exploring City Hall with Bakubaku, the Yokohama City decarbonization support mascot, and various other Yokohama City characters.
Digital Stamp Rally
In this initiative, when you scan the AR markers displayed at six spots within Yokohama City Hall, various Yokohama city characters will explain environmental and decarbonization measures. When you
check the explanations of decarbonization measures in AR, you will be awarded a stamp, and when you collect all six stamps, you will be able to download the original "Baku Baku" wallpaper as a complete bonus. In addition, Yokohama residents can enjoy a double chance to win a prize by answering a questionnaire and applying for a gift of their choice.
By combining AR with the digital stamp rally, learning elements and information can be conveyed in a more understandable and enjoyable way, making it a good fit for tourist destinations and commercial facilities, and enjoyable for people of all ages
